We are shooting BIG BONED on Saturday. Here is the cast:
Kobe Reed: A young, sweet boy auditioning for the role of Oliver.
Jesse Kuntz: A mixed up man inappropriately auditioning for the role of Oliver.
Rosangela Taylor: His anorexic, controlling, angry girlfriend
Richard Arlington Briggs, Jr.: The pretentious director of bad community theatre.
Susan Hasse: The dorky community theatre choreographer who specializes in choreographing “jazz hands” and nothing else.
Mark Kann: The failed musician who sings and directs every song with anger and nothing else.
ABOUT THE FILM: After seeing the "perfect Oliver" audition, KELLEY (Jesse Kuntz) insists on auditioning for the role of Oliver, even though he is far too old and way too fat. SARAH (Rosangela Taylor), his angry anorexic girlfriend, has pressured him into doing it, just as she pressures him into everything else. Richard, Susan and Mark are the silly artistic team of the Bad Community Theatre who painstakingly endure and prolong the audition.
The film is a dark comedy that explores to the nature of delusion, control and eating disorders. We are excited to shoot this film and present it to you in May at Octane.
